A visit to Wyvern
Saturday 25th June and my second trip to Kings Heath in Birmingham in the same week…. I was very happy that the District Grand PCW, David Thompson, volunteered to be the driver for this journey, seen here with R.Ill.Comp. Bob Potts. District Grand Master of Essex.
The first meeting of Wyvern District since before the lockdown was presided over by the District Grand Master, R.Ill.Comp. Ken Downes, who welcomed the guests and local distinguished Companions including R.Ill.Comp. Frank Spencer, the newly installed Assistant Grand Master of the Mark, seen here with R.Ill.Comp. Alan Beckerton, District Grand Master of Derbyshire.
The meeting was conducted very efficiently and finished ahead of the planned time. During the meeting the side doors were open to allow fresh air to circulate, but the aroma of Fish and Chips permeated the Temple and whetted our appetites for Lunch.
